I know you guys like that rich Black color, but I have to say that I am truely
enamored of the Graphite Metallic. Just wish I could have gotten those Cedar
seats to go with it. Why didn't DC make those available in the SRT6?

Had a choice! I got to see all of these!
Red was beautiful but stands out to much in a parking lot, the idiots who love to key cars would have a hay day. It's really pathetic that we should have to be concerned about these degenerates.

Black is gorgeous, but I already have a black car and it gets dusty too quick for me to keep up with.

Silver is classy but I just sold my Lexus LS 400 and that was silver so it was time for a change.

White, didn't like white at 1st but after test driving one, both my wife and I got to really like it but it was an automatic and that's not me.

Graphite Metalic, very rich looking and I found it in a 6 speed. The rest is history!

Hello, my name is Robin T. I'm a marketing representative with the Chrysler Information Center. I've been following your conversation; it’s great to know that the Chrysler Crossfire has inspired such owner loyalty and enthusiasm. I was just wondering if it would be okay for me to participate in the discussion.

Thanks,

Alas, Dan, I am not fortunate enough to own a Chrysler Crossfire, but a girl can dream right?

I just wanted to congratulate all the new owners on their "recent" 2005 Chrysler Crossfire purchases!

The Chrysler Information Center provides marketing information on current model year Chrysler Brand vehicles (pricing, specifications, product literature etc). If we don't have the information, we are usually able to refer individuals to the appropriate party.

Hello Robin T. Welcome to the forum. I don't see why anyone would
object to having you participate here. In fact, I would suspect that
your presence would be rather valuable, as one would think you may
have info that is not readily available to the rest of us. Such as, you
may be able to definitively answer the question regarding the future
of the Crossfire. Is it being dropped, or does the car still have a
future? Also, why has Chrysler not advertised the car more?

These are just some of the many questions I would think someone in
your position might be able to shed some light on.

I hope you enjoy your time here.

Thumbs up Re: New Owner

Finally bought mine this week, a new red 2004 Automatic. Seems like the '04 rides a little softer than the '05 limited Coupe which is more to my liking (this is my daily driver).

Any other differences between the '04 and the '05 limited coupe?

Thanking God for my un-deserved blessings every day...

Doug

P.S. If you're looking for a great deal on a new '04, check out Jim Rush GMC Chrysler in Bolivar, MO. I bought #16699 from him Monday.

Xfire R&T ad

Chrysler indeed is advertising the Crossfire. The May 2005 issue of Road & Track magazine has a two-page Crossfire SRT 6 ad near the front. Magazines like R&T are the logical place for Chrysler to run Xfire ads. Oh yes, I'm in Cleveland, Ohio where we just set the record for the snowiest winter in our history thanks to a storm yesterday that dumped about 5" of snow on us--a week after I removed my snow tires! Wow! Thanks for the huge welcome guys! It's great to meet all of you. I hope everyone had a great weekend. Coyote, just wanted to let you know that there are currently no plans to drop the Chrysler Crossfire. The most recent commercial that comes to mind is one called "black beauty" features a black Crossfire. One is for the Crossfire Roadster, there’s another featuring the Crossfire Coupe. The narrator does a "rhetorical” question and answer session… “Can inspiration move you? Yes...... Can inspiration make the simple act of driving around extraordinary? Yes." Have you seen it? There are variations depending on where you are geographically. One features the car cruising on black top/test track; another has it cruising through what appears to be an upscale urban/downtown neighborhood, there’s yet another that features both the test track and cityscape, and then shows the car driving down a country road.

Cindy2, thanks for the info on the other Crossfire site! And nb thanks for citing the ad find in R&T magazine....

I am also a new owner, just purchased a leftover 04. Love it, and was thinking maybe about lowering it, and possibly putting that borla system on it. Any suggestions? Does that system sound good?
