Side mirror can't be adjusted
My driver side mirror is unresponsive to adjustments from the center console; however, the passenger side still functions. I'm guessing that this is an issue with the motor or wiring behind the mirror, but am unsure how to remove the mirror in order to get a better look at the wiring (could only find a vague drawing from the service manual). The most likely cause I can think of is that water found its way back there from a power washer.
Anyone with a similar experience or advice? Also, where might I find a new motor for the mirror if needed?

Turning the mirror to the inboard position exposes two screws that you remove.
I would however remove the mirror first, it is pried out from the top with a plastic trim tool. It clips to the mechanism inside. With the glass off you can remove the wire connectors inside the mirror and unscrew it and it will be free.
Prying the mirror off is a little unsettling at first but it is not that hard when it comes to the second one as the glass is quite strong. Hold the glass to prevent it falling.

At first, I thought you two were saying move the mirror glass to the most inboard position but after rereading everything and looking at the .pdf a light bulb went on and I realized you meant the BREAKAWAY swivel of the entire mirror assembly swung in until it almost touches the door glass. Is this correct? That would expose the two "mirror base" screws that hold the entire mirror onto the door itself, right? I could only shudder if trying to pry the mirror glass itself to the inboard position, it would seem to me that the mirror glass itself would shatter, that's why I was confused. Am I better now? YES! .
