Spoiler retracts at 60 MPH
I own a 2004 crossfire coupe, it's a great car that I had since 2013. Last year, I had to disconnect a fuse in the fuse box because the alarm kept going off randomly. Now when I go about 60 to 65 MPH, I break the spoiler retracts. Is there anyway to fix this?
Did you resolve this? The spoiler retracts at 40mph normally. When you break, what speed does the spoiler retracts. Deploy it manually and it won't detract until you detract it.
It appears to be coded into the BCM, and no one has spoken of 'breaking the code' of the BCM.
IF it is in the ECM, (with the commands going to the BCM over the CAN bus), they why haven't Rudy or someone else found it and spoken of it?
No, no way to automatically deploy it using the BCM's output. You could design your own little box but I'm unsure of where you'd get a good indication of speed from without upsetting the applecart that is the stability control system.

You can put it up at any speed you want, and I believe put it down too manually. Not sure what your point really is, but the desired effect is easily manageable by the driver.
