Default Windshield wipers

What size are the refills for them? I thought they were 20 and 22 inch but they seem too long. I guess they are 19 and 21?

A quick note about my experience with windshield wiper refills. Recommended wiper refill lengths for the Crossfire are 20" (L) and 22" (R). When I got my Crossfire I noticed that the tip of the right blade (passenger side) overlapped the rubber windshield seal at the rest position. I measured it as a bit over 22". This distorted the tip of the blade. No big deal, but I replaced the blade with a 21" refill. There seems to be some differences in length among various refill brands. In any case, I think a 21" blade on the right fits the windshield better with no significant difference in coverage.

You needed to rotate the arm by removing the lock nut and rotating it by one serration at least and the problem would have been solved.

Sometimes the easiest solution is the best but difficult to see. I had the same issue when I bought my car and 180s solution fixed the problem.

I picked up Valeo Ultimate wiper blades: 21" and 20" from The Tire Rack for both cars.

Actually I tried that, but didn't like the look of the wiper angled up on the windshield. I'm a bit obsessive about my cars, so I decided that a 21" blade was the better solution for me. It allows the blade to rest at a completely horizontal position without contacting the windshield trim.

I have purchased PIAA Silicone Refills for my Crossfire, searching Amazon for the correct length. Get really good performance from these refills and allows me to keep the OEM wiper blade arm.

Later,
