Wow, 4 months isn't that long. It's always hard to get in and out of small, low cars without rubbing on the edge of the seat. I would think that the dealer would tell you it's wear and tear, but if it happened this soon, I would definitely put up a fight to get it fixed. Maybe the leather had a weak spot to begin with that helped it do that so soon.

I did have mine replaced under warranty because of the color wearing off. Mine was only 5 months old at that time so check with your dealer.

Viper has the same problem the leather for the seats are very thin and most of you have thick wallets and that is what chrysler is banking on but you have a warr. get it while you are under the 12 months 12,000 mile you should have no problem other then ordering a new seat cover and make sure that you have some one with a fine touch some times they don't stretch the leather down over the seat right.
