Is There A Trunk Release Latch On The Inside Of The Car?
Pressing the open button on the key fob the second time opens the coupe's trunk/hatch as well as the passenger door. I have not found a trunk release button or lever who's purpose is just to open the hatch/trunk lid. (yet).
No...but there's one inside the trunk. Which I find oddly amusing since there wouldn't be a lot of people who could fit in there. But it's better to have it and be safe!

Only thing I can think of is the Unlock/Lock button for the doors where it unlocks everything.
There is no trunk "release". Just a button on the dash with the picture of a key on it. Push that and it unlocks the doors and trunk. Push the blank side, and it locks everything. Or as previously said, press lock, or unlock 2 times on the key fob and that works the lock on the passenger door and trunk. You have to open the trunk manually (I have a Roadster, but am assuming that it works the same for the coupe hatch).
There is no interior trunk latch. Both the key and the button on the dash will UNLOCK the trunk, but the only way to OPEN it is to use the latch on the outside of the car. I would imagine on the roadster there must be an emergency trunk release. It's not required on the coupe because you could theoretically hop into the passenger compartment if you ever got stuck in the trunk. Good luck testing it out.
