Default Resonator delete

Is there anyway you can get around a NY inspection. Could I take out the sensor so it doesn't throw codes or just clear them before I go in to the shop. I really dont want to pay extra for an inspection to pass it

Just clearing codes doesn't allow a vehicle to pass any state inspection. The test would come up 'yellow' showing there are pending problems. That is considered a temporary failure and they give you 30 days to come up with any repair that will show a green light on just about all OBD readers. Without clearing, the OBD reader will show a 'red' indication, which is an immediate fail. Hope your problem gets solved!
