Default Lowering My Crossfire

If I were to lower my crossfire with H&R Springs or Eibach do I have to do anything else to the car such as wheel spacers or anything? I just want to lower it about an inch to give it that more aggressive look. I am not doing anything to the shocks. Thanks.

You don't have to do anything else. If you want more aggressive look, then get spacers to push the wheel out.

No spacers...and only if you really need them for the particular wheel you want. Spacers are dangerous...and the wheels aren't supposed to stick out past the fenders anyways...
I had spacers on my former Eclipse - and that's only because it was wide-bodied and I couldn't find the right wheel with the right offset through the company that was sponsoring it.

Eh, why are spacers dangerous?

If they are not torque'd correctly or are to wide they put to much strain on the studs and may break. Here in Mass. they are illegal to use.

Well I should've stated that better.

If you have to get them, you should get hub-centric spacers. Its the regular cheap ones that can be bad for the car. You're pushing your wheels out past where the car was built for them to go. It can weaken your axles. It's like putting two buckets on a pole, if it's of decent (shorter) length, it will remain strong...however if the pole keeps getting longer and you keep putting the buckets out further and further, it's going to be weaker and start to bend...

nobody ever mentions this, or possibly nobody ever does this...when you lower your car you are changing the triangulation of the suspension, it is ABSOLUTELY necessary to have you're car realigned about 1 month after the springs are installed. you need to give the suspension time to settle so wait 3 to 4 weeks at the most, but if you don't realign the suspension you'll eat through those $307.00 a piece tires and you'll wish you had paid for the 50 dollar alignment. just a tip and hopefully those who haven't done this go have it done, you'll thank me in the long run!

And you cannot align the rear unless they make a camber kit. only the front.

here is my lowered crossfire with eibach springs and h&r spacers. (two friends have this set-up in my area)

i did add koni shocks 6 months later (personal preference but not needed...i like a crisp rebound).

i have had this set up on my car for over 12k and no irregular tire wear at all. a normal alignment was completed a week after install. i love the look and near stock ride feel.

My friend makes chamber kit for $300 for the rear. For the front, you can buy chamber adjustment bolts from Mercedes.

I already received my H&R Kit with dampers (around $700+ from TireRack) but I still haven't installed them yet. I'm looking at going to the Mercedes dealership to have it installed since they have more experience than the Chrysler dealership in this regard. I'll do it next week and I just hope everything's gonna be A-okay with my set-up.
