i usually wipe them off with a damp towel and vacuum them (careful with the seams) everytime i wash the car. leather conditioner about once every three months (when the season change is usually my indicator).

the center section of the seat (upper/lower) is vinyl. the smooth surface is leather. i treat it all at the same time with a leather conditioner once every 3 months or so.

Thumbs up Re: Leather seats

I've done mine about 3 times already, but its because I'll be in the garage and bored so I say "what the hell". I figure with the car being new it should soak it up pretty good but a good rule of thumb is about three to four times a year. I will say this though, with my previous car the seats looked great after 5 years and I treated them "MANY" times a year, so its up to you. I will suggest this, buy some Griots interior cleaner and their leather conditioner, its THE best, period! www.griotsgarage.com

I've been using Connolly Hide Food for about 35 years. I haven't found anything better yet. I will try the Griots. I also use saddle soap once a year.

I use AutoSol emulsion conditioner and leather cleaner. It's for BMW and I bought it from BMP.

i use "automagic" leather conditioner with lanolin.

this is one of my favorite products...easy to use, low sheen, supple, true leather scent and no stick feel. most haven't heard of this b/c it's not available to the public consumer market. internet only or through detailing distributor companies.

they also have a great claybar..."clay magic". it leaves no residue behind.

I condition my seats usually everytime I wash my car. I love to keep my car nice and clean and I like the smell of the leather conditioner I use. I figure the more the better!

There are a ton of great leather products on the market. I prefer Zymol leather conditioner/cleaner. It is very east to use, apply cleaner and wipe the seats with a wet cloth, then your done. One thing I stress is be very careful around the stitching and seams. Both can be damaged very easily and are extremely expensive to repair.

I condition my seats at least once every other month. Sometimes once a month during warmer seasons...

it gets warm there in Indy? LOL

my last cars seats were done 4 times a year for 30 years and still look great. I just did my seats in the crossfire yesterday for the first time. they look like new.
I only use saddle soap and conditioner from the days I had to maintain my ridding saddle, horse died and have never rode since.
