Default Engine cover.

I'm looking for options to upgrade the engine cover on my 2004 coupe

You could go with a Mercedes engine cover?

The SLK320 cover fits but offers no improvements.
Some 6 cylinder Mercedes covers fit but some of them interfere with the hood insulation which rubs against the engine cover and marks the cover.
I have a post that gives the Mercedes engine cover that fits perfectly and because it uses larger filters improves air flow to the engine. It also gives the part numbers to improve the air flow even more.
