OK, time to decide. H&R or Eibach?
I really don't want a drastic drop or ride. I want a better look with a little better handling and nothing that will destroy my stock struts or suspension or cause rubbing. I already had a Porsche with an H&R setup with Koni adjustable so this is my cruising ride.
Which spring set has the greater drop?
Which is better quality?
Which will yield the better more comfortable drive?
Lastly which has the greater sport rake?
Going to be purchasing this week and want some help.
Thank you!

I think the eibach and H&R drop is the same. 1.25 inch rear and 1 inch front apx. Also you might check your spring set rubber bushing they have been found to be different to almost 1/2 inch I think. I have not verified this quote though.
If you are more for the looks and comfort, use only the lowering springs and keep the stock shocks. For a rougher sports car ride, use the H&R Cup kit or the Eibach/Koni combo.
Eurorev installed mine $350 including springs. I never saw them trim the bump stops, I'll check.
Does anyone have a rear aftermarket bar to adjust the negative toe in rear?

i would prefer H&R any day of the week over Eibach, but that's just a personal opinion, both are superior quality springs and both will function for the life of the vehicle.
both springs will hold a fantastic ride quality again unless you use the H&R Cup Kit then the ride gets stiff but not as stiff as with the koni shocks. i have the cup kit and the car is my daily driver, i have no problems with it.
not entirely sure what your asking with the rake question, by motorcycle definitions you'd be asking if the front is lower than the rear, if that's the case it differs from car to car, mercedes uses different sized rubber shock caps in the front a rear, my rear was a number 3 and the front a number 1, the front has more wheel gap than the rear even still. if you can clarify what you mean by rake, maybe i can help you out a little better.
to make it short, if your looking for a sporty ride, go with the H&R cup kit, if your looking for a lowering effect keeping the mushy roll infected suspension, it doesn't much matter which spring you use, they will both do the same thing.
KYLEWINK
Thanks
Yeah, by sport rake, I meant how the front is lower than the back. If the springs lower the same I'll go with H&R since that is what I have on my Porsche. But according to the specs the H&R springs lower the car more which is what I don't want. The Eibach are 1.0/1.25 the H&R are 1.2/1.5 front to rear.
hmmm.

not the case...here are the stats right off the H&R website... www.hrsprings.com
Applications for 2004 Chrysler / Dodge / Plymouth / Crossfire
Sport Spring 1.2" 1.0" 50805 $ 369.00 Kit
and the stats from the eibach site are non existent, but according to www.tirerack.com the eibach kit does the opposite drop, 1.0" in the front a 1.2" in the rear. so i'm not too sure where you got your information from but apparently its incorrect, the info on the tirerack site syncs up with that of the H&R site making me trust that they have the drop listed correctly for the eibach site as well...anyways, here is the link for the springs on tirerack.com, check it out, ordering through them may save you some cash. http://www.tirerack.com/suspension/S...t&autoModClar=

Received my car back today with the Eibach Pro kit installed.
The difference in the look is AMAZING! It is not "slammed" but rather the space around the wheels is appropriate and not exaggerated as with stock. Looks like a sports car should, not like a low-rider tail dragger. I got two spontaneous "Thumbs up!" from the first two people I passed while turning off the block of the Customizer. Other cars I passed turned their heads and stared.
The ride is a smidge stiffer, but no real change.
No problems with the install, and the shop that did it said that they measurements worked out according to the instructions, and they did not have to shave the stops at all. I spent $459.00 for the kit including the install and it was worth every penny.
Will try to post some pics this weekend.
