Default Wiper Drain Tubes

I removed the cowling and yes much debris on top of left and right drain tubes. Removed as much as I could and tried to run a weedeater line down the tube to see if they were obstructed; yes both sides. I water tested both sides and driver side does OK but passenger side very slow drip; hardly draining at all. I cannot find a good way to clear the tubes. I bought a 2 foot drain cleaner (plastic) meant to get out hairballs in sink. Drivers side tube has a nasty bend and it did not go far. I was able to get all 2 feet into the to "worse" side passenger side. But still slow drip.

How to get all the junk out? Compressed air; garden hose. The drain tubes are buried in the side panels of the car and the end underneath the car are not accessible.

Thanks,

Jim

The danger is blowing the end off at the top where it connects. I don't know how you would get in there to reconnect.
I did see a post a while back where someone successfully user compressed air.
If you go that route, start with the pressure turned waaaaaay down.

Blowing air down the pipes may compress the debris tighter.
The passenger side pipe comes out by the windshield washer tank under the fender. If you have the time you could take off the fender liner, and clean out the area. I found a lot of debris hidden there, I had the tank out to replace it at the time. I generously sprayed the area with Fluid Film before putting the new tank back in place. Maybe you could loosen the debris from the bottom of the pipe if the liner and tank were out.
Cleaning the tank out is a smart idea if plain water has been used as slime grows in the tank in that situation, the first time I had my old tank out was because slime had jammed up the nozzles and pump.
You could try using a long Zip Tie that may go around bends more easily.
There is an How To on removing the WW tank.

I agree but I am worried about just compressing all together. Another XFire adventure.

I cleaned out my drains using water hose set on medium then jet, back to medium, and finishing up with jet..........on the ground was a mixture of pine needles and leaves.

Replaced cabin filter same day and found the same. On the engine side of the filter I found a petrified mouse. Not a scared mouse, but a petrified one. In a geologic sense.
