Default Headlights!!! Aftermarket???

Hey guys,
I'm looking to replace my headlights assembly as they are old and worn despite the renewal job I did on them. Is there and aftermarket version or something that comes relatively close?

What restoration kit did you use? The Crossfire's headlights are actually very easy to restore to almost brand new condition because they were not treated with protective sealer over the lenses. As such they sand very easily and evenly. Before you spend a fortune get this kit that works with your power drill and give it a try. Watch the videos on Youtube to see how to use it. I could barely see through mine they were so frosted and now they look brand new. 1 kit has enough sanding disks to restore about 4 headlights but after that the kit is spent.. Keep the foam compounding / buffing pad though and buy some more lens polish to keep them restored.

The protective coating/sealer is what the issue is. You must remove the coating to get down to the clear material.

Mine had no coating/sealer on them. Maybe they started coating them in later model years as mine is a 2004? My F-150 was another story though that had the sealer on them from the factory that started to yellow and peel off... What a PITA. It's for this reason I will never apply another sealer after restoring my headlights... far easier to just keep up with them, keep them waxed and restore again when necessary without having to sand all that nasty sealer off them.

All three of my 05s had a sealer on them that had to be sanded off.

Interesting. I know mine had never been previously restored. Photo of mine after restoration with that 3M system... They are clear, that's just the sun glare.

There is a spray to provide UV protection after you polish them, enjoy, Woody

After I cleaned mine with the above mention 3m kit. I put clear lamin x headlight wrap on them to project them from the sun.
