Embarrasing news for the Crossfire

On the other hand, the Mini Cooper is the quickest car off the dealer lot, staying there on average only 9 days!
Overspray from the Auto body shop or from the lines on the road? Try a little paint thinner on a rag if it's from the body shop. Actually, where is it located on the car? Don't use thinner on the rubber/ plastic trim/molding pieces.

very easy to use & safe for the paint finish.
you should be able to find some at an automotive specialty store.

D-C introduced Pacifica in spring of '03 as an '04, 6 seats, a bunch of standard equip, 30k+, most 35+. Great car, quickly ran out of buyers, came out with a 5 pass slightly de-contented model in 05, still way above avg standard equip, bought new an AWD 3.5l for 23 last year. Think same with Crossfire, a non ragtop 2-seat, not a screamer like 350z but 36k. Run out of buyers fast and addition of ragtop and srt6 a little too late, sounds like 2006 will be final year. I just bought a new '04 (only 1 package made then) 5 speed and all season tires 36.5k sticker, 24k plus t,t,l. Heard Chrysler pushed the dealers in late '04 to take inventory of '04's and recently helped them with discounts.
I bought mine in July of this year but according to the door sticker it was made last summer, so its been around awhile. I too don't really care what other people think about it (I've haven't got one negative yet, even a guy with a Boxter waves at me). I just like the look and the fact we have a unique vehicle.

I too am also not concerned with the model year and think their plans to perhaps discontinue this model is good news (except maybe someday for parts) because they will become even more unique. The looks from tt's and slk's are o.k. but also got a big look from neighbor with a Bentley Coupe.
Yeh. That's a ton of coin to pay for a car, think I'd be a little intimidated even leaving it in a parking lot. I've seen is high-school age kid drive it and, when honked on, it does make a sweat growl though...

Someone is in serious need for a strait jacket if they think a bentley coupe is looking at a crossfire. You are talking about apples and oranges - I love the crossfire but come on...the bentley is one of the most refined autos ever made - throw cost aside - there is light years between them.
My comment about the neighbor with the Bentley looking at my Crossfire is true however think the interest maybe more out of curiosity than admiration. It's rare to see one around here and especially the back end is quite distinctive, kind of a 'what the heck is that' thing. I'm not suggesting he was considering a trade. Getting a lot of double takes and here are the neighbor cars: Bentley Coupe, 05 M class, S class, 2 Rolls, 8-series, G class, LS430 as well as some normal cars for real people like me. Part of it too is that most of these drivers are more in the Ensure crowd than the Red Bull crowd so they probably don't subscribe to Motor Trend.
Great price on the 2004 6-speed, similar to my 2 week old 2004 5-speed. I also thank the typically overweight Americans that fit poorly into Crossfires for helping me to afford one. A dealer guy moving the car for prep was challenged to close the door. Good thing they have the Corvette.
