Default New rem install

I just bought a 2004 crossfire, and purchased an oem RCM module which includes a SAM module. Do I just take out the old module and put in new one or does it need to be
programmed? The Mercedes part number is MB-203 90 60005 and I bought it from Autohaus as. Is this the correct module for my car.
thank you for your help. Jim

What is a SAM Module? The RCMs are plug and play and are interchangeable.

The receipt says the SAM IS Signal acquisition control module. What I got is just one big unit with fuses in it

That would be the RCM, They can just be replaced by carefully unplugging them.
