When I started the car after installing the rcm, I had two warning lights on.
the esc and I forget the other one. I looked in the forum and found a post stating that
if you center the steering and have the car turned on and cranked the steering wheel
all the way to the left and then all the way to the right and then center the wheel
again the two lights would go off, and they did!. They said the lights had come on because
i had unhooked the battery as I installed the rcm. Sure is nice to find solutions to
Problems on the forum.

Here's a tip:
Whenever you disconnect the battery, always disconnect the negative cable first.
If you have disconnected both battery cables, reconnect the positive first, then the negative.
The electronics are very sensitive in this car.

Disconnecting the battery does not always cause the brake controller to lose its mind and turn that light on. But it sometimes does.

The better way, is to not disconnect the battery just for an RCM job. The RCM is a power distribution device, all it is, is relays and fuses. There is no reason to disconnect the battery when removing or re-connecting the RCM.
