Default Repairing storage pocket between seats

Hi everyone!

On my older Crossfire, the leather like material on the storage pocket between the seats has come loose on both sides. I am wondering if the whole pocket can be removed (and how?) and can it be re-attached, maybe glued in on the backside of the pocket to whatever holds that storage bag in place?

Has anyone done it? How is it attached on the other side? Just looking and feeling around, it seems like there is a frame that attaches to the carpet or some kind of opening in the carpet. I don’t see or feel any kind of fasteners though.

If anyone has any ideas or has removed that pocket/bag please let me know.

Nick

Can you post a picture?
Maybe there is away to repair it without removing it.

Thank you for your replies.

@UrbanE I think you are spot on. I found the picture below on Ebay and it seems like it has a clip on each corner. Maybe I can carefully pry it up with a trim removal tool. Scared to break these clips?
Edit: Looking closer at those things in the picture it looks like hooks. Also, wondering why there is a screw in the picture. Might be a mkstake by the person selling it but I don't see where the screw would come into place with that design.

@M60A3Driver So basically on the two top corners the fabric has lifted off the frame. The previous owner had tried to staple it to the car's carpet backing in that area but that did not work.
I thought if I removed it, I can glue it back in place but looking at the picture, looks like it was staple to the frame from the factory. So maybe that is the way to go to attach the fabric.

your post is "Repairing Storage Pocket Between Seats" the eBay photo looks like the storage pocket BEHIND the Driver seat, not the pocket BETWEEN the seats. The pocket between the seats is a leather pouch, the one behind the driver seat is web with a plastic frame.

If you take it off, you can probably take it any upholstery shop and they can repair it in a few minutes. It would probably be under $50.00. Just a guess.

I guess language barrier. Originally from Germany. To me, that leather pouch is still "between" the seats and the "net", that is actually behind each seat, on the bottom by the subwoofer is just that...behind the seats, no?
