Default Leather Squeaky Seats?

Anyone else have this 'problem' annoyance?

I will be driving sometimes by myself but when i have a passenger its worse. The seats will RUB against the 'wall' and squeak. So i moved the forward a little but when i accelerate or turn sharp i guess the weight moves the chair a little and rubs or makes that sound like everything is real tight.

Just curious if i am going crazy or if this is normal!

You have the seats binding/pressing too far against the rear bulkhead. If you move them forward you'll see some wear spots beginning. This has been discussed here before. You might do a search. The previous post has pictures of the wear on the back of the seats.

I am always very careful to never let my seat back touch the bulkhead. I move the seat back as far as I can. When I feel it touch and start to bind I move it forward juts a bit. This also keeps the seat back form binding which can't be good for the mechanism.

It could also be simply your driver's side seatbelt latch rubbing against the leather. I have this issue and it's annoying. Might put some type of cloth buffer inbetween the two.

Another solution is to put a cloth between the back of the seat and the rear wall. This is perfect for me as I need all the leg room I can get... a duster works best.
