Default CheaP New Crossfires inside!

Southwest Chrysler Jeep is selling New 2005 Crossfires for $28,000 no haggle price, if your looking to buy, go with them! The dealership also has been very kind to me.

That's expensive. I paid $24,300 for my new 2005 Crossfire, and better deals can be had with the steep incentives on this car.

Hey Aero Blue, did you see what the base roadsters were going for? I saw something like 22K in one of the local papers! Insanity! And I thought I got a good deal at 24K. That was with an EP number that I got my hands on, by the way.

I think the guy who started this thread works at the dealership he is plugging...

I always hear about these unbelievably amazing deals, but I never actually see them. Where can I get a brand new XF for 24k? I am not being sarcastic, I'm serious, I would but one tomorrow but I never find any good deals in California. I honestly can never find any that cheap. Maybe California dealers think they can still sell these cars? Where do you find these deals on brand new cars being $24k - if this is true, thats insane!!! PS I would like to buy one at that price asap.

28k is the lowest i've ever seen on a Brand New Crossfire. I've searched eBay, Cars, Autotrader, Automotive, Carmax - all of them.

Can somebody please link me to one of these amazing deals???

AL. Everybody on this Forum is going to start thinking I work for EBAY, because I'm always telling people to shop there. But honestly I don't. It may take a little while, but if you're diligent, I'm sure that you will be able to find one of those "unbelievable" deals that you are looking for. Yes, even on a brand new one. Dealers have to make monthly payments to the bank on every car they have on their lot. It's called "floor planning". The longer the car sits, the less profit they're going to make on that car. After a while it gets to the point where the dealer decides to cut their losses and let the car go, just to get out from under it. It's no big secret, it's just business. That's when someone can get a really good deal. It used to be that most of the time dealers just took the cars to "dealer" auctions to unload them, but now thanks to the internet, they can reach a much larger audience, thus a better chance of receiving a higher bid on their cars. Still, alot of times the cars sell at even below "wholesale" prices. Keep watching EBAY and I'm sure you'll see what I'm telling you is true...Mike

I live about 3 miles from Reedman's, but I ended up getting my car down in Baltimore. At the time (May '04), I got a better deal down there on my 2004 (I think it was just under 31K ). Are you from this area?

These xfires for under 25K new...non-premiums? No cloth, trim around the windshield, ect.?

Still cheap/a lot of car for the money, but I can't imagine those cars would have nearly the resale a one with leather would have.

My friend just moved to L.A. and a dealer said they could sell him a brand new one for either 23 or 24K, but it was a non-premium.

Slaps76, 10 months ago I purchased our brand new 2004 Limited 6 spd. for less than 25K off EBAY, and 3 weeks before I got it, the dealer sold another one for 2K less than I paid for mine. That's why I think if you shop around on the net, there are deals to be had. I don't see why sometime after the 1st. of the year (when business is really slow) in the Northern states, or maybe even December when the Christmas slow down hits, great deals just may be found on some new 05's. It wouldn't surprise me if there aren't some new 04's still on the lots too. The key is to shop the internet diligently every day, and it wouldn't hurt to visit your local dealers as well.
As I've said before in previous posts, "If you're shopping for any kind of sports car, not just a Crossfire, shop where the ground is "white" for 3 or 4 months out of the year". The dealers in those locations are usually much more receptive to offers on cars that seldom move out the door until spring. Good hunting, and don't get discouraged if it takes a little while. The money you save will make it all worth while.

Yes, it is a base car - black, cloth seats, six-speed. The sticker was over $30K, but as I mentioned, I did not pay close to that. There were just 25 miles on the car when I drove it off the lot - all of them from test drives, etc. I got mine brand spanking new for the amount I mentioned earlier. It's got 4,100 much pampered miles on it now.

Ok. Lets get it straight! You bought a Limited for 23K? I don't think so! I think you have a standard. This would be believable I have not seen limiteds (brand new off dealer floor) for less than 28K. They list for 36K!
I think we are getting cars mixed up. I can see a standard going for 24K. A limited averages about 29K.

No I bought a 2004 auto for 23k. There was no base coupe in 2004 it is the same as a 2005 limited coupe.

I bought it in July of 2005 it had 50 miles on it. The build date is 1-04 I got it down to 23k then traded a 95 Saturn sc2 in on it which they gave me 3k for bringing the price down to 20k plus tax and tags.

I had a hard time believing it myself, I had to show my wife the paperwork because she thought I was lying to keep from getting pissed at me.

I was in the right place at the right time I guess. Also I stuck to my guns as this was all I could spend, it was actually a little more than was in my budget as I recently got the wife a car.

Notice my earlier post says 25k out the door this was including tax, tags, finance insurance and my first two months of car insurance...
The dealers were dealing on everything at the time as the economy was crap. Like I said, right place right time.

Cool Re: CheaP New Crossfires inside!

In Orlando, Fl. Greenway Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep, I paid $19,200 for my "Base Crossfire", 12 miles on the car. I had to give up my '05 Dodge Ram, Rumble Bee Edition, Man I miss that beast! But getting 11 mpg was the downfall. Anyways, in the end, I still made profit off of selling my truck to get my Crossfire, I bought the car last month.

You blokes ought look downunder here. Even taking in the US/AUD $ conversion, '05 XF's here were $70k plus taxes when I bought mine. I've a mate who's the dealer finance manager. That and a bit of "employee deal" haggling he quietly sourced mine for $55k all inclusive with tint and duco treatment. And I haven't heard yet of a deal equaling that. I'm wrapt - right place right time,?? Yeah right. LOL. What you blokes pay for these spanking new are what we'd here fork out for a very used Saab.
