ignition key sometimes hard to turn
Hi Everyone,
This is my first time posting but I have read a lot of threads and found this forum most informative.
There are times when I go to start my crossfire that the key is very hard to turn and I am afraid that one of these times I am going to break the key off in it. Has anyone else experienced this?
It doesn't happen all the time just occasionally. I am considering taking it to the dealer and having them look at it. The problem is that since it doesn't happen everytime, what will they do about it and will it be covered under my warranty. Any feedback would be greatly welcomed.
Thanks,
Sherri

Our Crossfire was doing that also, but tonight even when we turned the steering wheel a little it still would not turn, we had to call to have some one come out but it wont be till Monday... Anyone know why it wont turn at all, the light on the central locking system was flashing, could that have anything to do with it? HELP>>>>lol...

Another point on the ignition key switch itself... If you turn it to the 'run' mode and leave it there for more than a minute or two, you will NOT be able to turn it to the 'start' position without first turning the key back to the 'off' position. This is a safety feature to prevent the 'starter grinding' I sometimes hear people with newer cars do when they think the engine is off when it's already running.
Just an FYI.
Just an FYI.
