Default Crossfire cameo film appearance

Just rented the movie "The Island" and noticed at least six Crossfires in the film...just thought I would share...

I seem to recall spotting one in one of the previews for the movie.

Remember, any time you see anything in a movie, it was intentional. They get corporate kickbacks from having actors sip on cans of coke, drive a new Crossfire, wear a shirt with the Nike swoosh on it, etc. It seems to be getting worse in recent years. But hey, if I were a movie producer, I would look for all the outside corporate cash that I could, to pad the budget and make a better flick overall.

...probably the only "product placement" DC ever arranged for the Crossfire.

Heheh, I think seeing them in The Island is what re-kindled my interest in them... Which ultimately led to buying one. As much as I dislike product placement, I guess I'd have to admit it works. At least it wasn't too blatant in The Island... The movie also got me interested in Wallycraft, but I don't exactly have $12 mil to spend...

the blonde drives one on CSI Miami, and doesn't that count as a form of advertising? just like on overstock.com.

There was a Crossfire driving away from the camera towards the beginning of 'Spanglish', when Paz Vega is walking on the street with her sister to the interview at Adam Sandlers house.

Did you see the convertible on "Monk"? The rich stock broker owned it and had his hand crushed in the door. The main characters also commented how rich the stock broker was to own one. Had the truth been known!!

Watching the Christmas shows on Hallmark. The one where Santa's son is looking for a wife - her boss brought her home from an evening meeting in a nice blue Crossfire Coupe. I was falling asleep on the couch until I heard a familiar engine drone and looked up to see it pulling into the driveway.
