I am considering making a couple batches of these to help with the almost nonexistent
aftermarket support and difficult overseas acquisition of parts for our beloved cars.
They are made out of clear lexan, painted to match on the back side so there is no worry about chipping.
Application will be easy with supplied 3M brand automotive grade double sticky adhesive. I will also include easy to follow instructions.
I currently have paint mixed that matches the graphite in PPG paint.
I am hoping to come in under $75 shipped to the continental U.S. for the pair.
I would need to do several of one color to keep costs down.
If you are interested please post and state what color your ride is.
Thanks.

$75.00 ouch hope its a lot lower. how thick is the lexan? I laser cut lexan and OEM parts like that for around $4.00 each. Now for painting thats another story. some paint wont actually adhere well to lexan. Do a test flick it with your finger nail and see if it shatters or lifts. This would be similar to a rock hitting it. if you have a DXF file I can cut your blanks.
I painted the bottom of them, and yes I tested for adhesion,I am an ASE certified master paint tech. Just trying to help out the friends on the forum. I also beveled and rounded the edges to make the appearance nicer.
Thank you for the offer, lets see how this thing goes and I'll let you know.

Yea I learned the hard way years ago. I painted a RC car body, very detailed and won concourse with it at a national event. I then had to run the body in one qualifying race. I side swiped the wall on the back straight and almost all the paint lifted off the body.
I use to paint look in my gallery and see what I did in the driveway a few years back. So where are you? I could use a good painter. How are you on bodywork?

Ok I am going to pick up some materials this week. I am set up to do graphite, and black.
I am going to make a couple sets to start. I think you guys will be pleased with the quality.
I won't take any money until they are ready to ship.
$69 shipped continental US.
If there is a demand I can set up to do other colors, so let me know if your interested.
Thanks

I've gotta see them on a Aero Blue Crossfire first, I'm a bit chicken and the price is MORE than fair, ouch!...are you kidding me?!
Project is underway, should be ready to ship end of next week or so.
If you feel the price is too high don't buy. There is more time involved than you would expect.
