replacing the muffler section will do very little, if anything, for horsepower gains. Get rid of the restriction (manifold, cats, etc) and you will see some hp at high rpms, but a loss of torque at low rpms. this is usually complimented with an intake system. do a search; its all been discussed before.

I would say if the 2004-2006 Crossfire is being re-tooled in July 2007, there is going to be a mid year model. Like the RX7 a few years back. The RX7 was gone from the market place for about a year, all at once it was back with twin turbos.
Maybe Chrysler is going to replace the 3.2 with the 3.5, with twin turbos. yep that would blow the doors off most other wanna be sport cars at the red light.
Look for the price to drop.
