Just got my cranking "no start" issue fixed, hopefully. The dealership says it is a faulty fuel pump. I will post the test and part numbers from my invoice, etc. once I get the car tomorrow.

AtomHeart, what were some of your symptoms? mine will start and run for 5 minutes, then die. I have to wait for a while, or try for a while, and sooner or later(up to an hour) it will start. While trying it cranks but doesnt start.

I posted a note on another page referencing an issue Im having with what I believe to be an FOB/SKREEM problem. My 2004 coupe all of sudden would not start. I noticed the FOB wouldnt lock/unlock the doors either. I replaced the batteries in the FOB and tried to program it to the car (key in ignition..2 presses...turn key to start run) and the car does not respond to the FOB. Still a no start.

I had it towed to a local dealer who says the Anit theft module (SKREEM?) is not sending a signal to the ECU. This sounds perfectly plausable if anything in the above posts is correct. Im concerned that they may be overlooking the obvious in the FOB/SKREEM match up.
Anyone have any ideas for me here??
Thanks,
Jack
