I just bought a 2004 crossfire xfire this past december. Its almost got 4k miles its automatic with the triptronic thing and twice now it has popped out of gear into neutral. I'm thinking that's what it was, cause both times i have almost blown my gosh darn engine. It is pissing me off and its like my car just goes dead. I can't get it into gear until i coast off to the side of the road and stop. This is bull crap luckily it hasn't happened on the freeway or i would be dead. I know a lot of the manual have had this problem. So i took it to the dealership and they tell me it shouldn't be doing that and i was like well no sh*t. I have barely had the car for 2 months. Well if you have any input hit me back thanks.

 

OK, so what did the dealer say they were going to do about it?

 

hmm never heard of that EVER, even on the manual.
