If you still hasn't emailed guettler@ctd-germany.com, please do so to continue to support the front Bentley-ish grill project!

Haven't heard anything from CTD since the picture of the bottom two pieces. Any updates on the main grille?

How do you guys think it would look to lose the center line? And like put a creased look kind like the Cadillac V-series? See what you think!

It's probably a taste thing. I like the center line which runs the entire length of the vehicle, including down the center of the Shift ****. Even if CTD manufactured the grill in a single piece, I'd still want it to maintain two separate sides to the car.

It would be helpful to see pictures of the production version and a full description of its specs, including materials and finish. A firm price in US Dollars would be nice too.

US Dollars = $365.97 (no discount) for the Grill and $31.37 Shipping to the US.
With the 15% discount we're looking at $342.45 total (includes shipping).
Tino, please post photos of this Grill on the Crossfire if possible!

here is the price for the lower grills:

normal retail price excl. VAT 86,16 euro (for the UK incl. VAT 99,95 euro) as a stand alone order.

if you order the lower grills with the upper grill the price is 77,54 euro (for the UK incl. VAT 89,95 euro).

upper grille news:

pictures are not finished by today.

we have build a fiberglass frame with a nice center strut and 2 bentley electronic polished stainless steel grilles on the back. the frame comes unpainted, so you can match it to the color of your car.

Thumbs up Re: Great news from CTD Germany

That would be approx. $109.00 US not including shipping for the lower grille set, not bad at all. Thanks again Tino!!!

Ok how do we handle the group buy? If they are going to ship them all to the same place, that will negate the savings because shipping is approximately the same as the discount. In order to make this work we will have to be all able to order independently with our own credit card and provide the shipping address for our own order. I don't EVEN want to get into sending all our money to one person and having him provide all the shipping info. I suppose CTD will have to tell us how to do it. Hopefully they will allow us to all get our shipping info and payment in by a certain date and have our order identified as coming from CrossfireForum.org . Then they could make a manufacturing run of the number of units ordered and ship them independently. What someone needs to do is send an e-mail to everyone on this thread to tell them of the group buy. I don't have the time or know how to do that. Maybe someone on this forum could do that relatively easily. I don't think we should do that until we have instruction from CTD how to accomplish the group buy. that way all the question will be answered.

I think we have to gather interested buyers of the grill either 15 or 30 people to be able to get a 10 - 15% discount. If there is more than 15 interested buyers here then we all go for the 30 where we get 15% discount.

What we can do is give Tino from CTD-Germany the list of 30 members who wants to buy the grills, in that way they can email each one of us with a discount coupon or code that we can use to order their grills identifying that we belong to the group buy deal. A time frame on when to purchase the grills should also be considered.
