Looks pretty trick! How much cutting or fabrication is required? How much boost do you plan to run? Also, how are you handling reprogramming the PCM?

Sorry I'm so full of questions but you've got me interested if the price is right.

not too much fabrication you gotta cut a little off the radiator support we gonna be using auxiliary injectors for fuel.

its gonna cost between 9 -15 grand being that it’s a twin turbo setup but were trying to make it cost effective.

the more people we see interested the lower the price will be.

were planning on running 10 psi of boost for now on the stock block which we think that it can handle 15 psi.

now i want to know some input on price as is we really looking to sell these things.

Newark, NJ. Yeah that’s great. I’m from Newcastle Delaware! It looks great, keep us updated and I’m sure I’ll take the 20 minute drive to get a kit! Lol. As long as it isn’t 9 grand. Lol JK. It looks like you ceramic coated the turbos and pipes to the turbos, looking forward to see this car when it’s done in person.

Do you have any estimates on power and times?? Any dyno numbers? Stock vs. upgrade? For 9k, I can't imagine too many people being interested. The only advantage of this so far is you could put it on a model with the 6 speed (is this what your using? or the autostick?, And if the 6 speed, have you done any tranny upgrades?). But with many crossfires in the 20k range just slightly used, or even new, the extra 9-15k on the kit you spend you could buy an srt for $29k new, and have the piece of mind of a factory warranty. But I think what you guys are doing is great. Up until now, everything on this board has been, what if, could it be done, how to, is it possible, and pretty much all talk and no walk. I'm glad to see someone is finally pulling the trigger on this project. And so far it looks great. I personally would want chrome pipes, but I could live with whatever’s cheaper, as long as it puts down some serious numbers. Also may I ask why the twin turbos vs. 1 larger turbo? Is it because of the engine set up? Preference? Cost?
And one last thing does the hood close with the pipe going to the intake? Probably just the angle of the pics but looks like it wouldn't fit under the closed hood. And if anything, I think you could sell that set up with just the tubing as a possible intake, which would give a more affordable upgrade. I know I'd be interested. THANKS!!! Keep up the hard work and keep us updated!!!

the kit doesn't clear the hood but we actually cut 2x2 inch square from under the hood so it can clear. other then that its fine.

we went with a twin setup cause it looked the easiest to build out of a single turbo setup.

these turbo should spool anywhere from 3,000 to 7,000.

we will be getting dyno numbers when were done with it.

our car is the 6 speed model.

we haven't done any tranny upgrades yet but were are hoping that it will hold the power.

we looking for a base of 10 pdi and anywhere from 400-450 rwhp so we will see what happens.

Speedmax: Great project... I'll be interested to see if the peripherals will need mod as well, eg. the FMU, ECU etc. Do you have the capability to access the computer and modify it's parameters ?

Send me a link to your company website, I would like to follow your progress...

In regards to the tranny, I am sure 99% of the other members (at least those with 6 spd) will tell you that the tranny will need to be upgraded. It's possible it could handle the power, but to get the best/most out of the driving experience, the tranny will need some work. So does the piping going to the intake clear? Also, is the square that you cut all the way through the hood? Any pictures of this? Thanks!!!

all you will need is a clutch...benz parts are strong as they come...you will sell zero of these for 9-15k, sorry, but most of us bought this car for 25k or so... greddy's tt setup is around 5k, that's where you need to shoot...sad but very true...

i was considering turning the crossfire in next year, but i'm pretty sure i'll keep it if this kit comes in at under 7k.

Looking good Speedex! Nice to see there are some more 'DO-ers' out there just getting on with it.

I think HDDP has already touched on this, but how are you going to address the extra fueling required? Are you adding a supplementary 7th injector system, remapping the stock ECU or going for a complete aftermarket injection system?

Simon.
