"Woody" said - "Checked for play in the ball joints this morning..."

Does that strike anybody else as funny, or am I just being juvenile? Sorry -

It struck me as funny when I wrote it - in fact I was going to write 'my ball joints' but that seemed funnier still.

Norrie, you have an extra "http" in that url. As posted it redirects you to microsoft.com. Would you edit that link, please?

I am not sure, I would need to look again but, I put my front springs in without taking off the wheels.
So ball joints may be possible to change with the wheel on.

Just an update on the ball joint situation.
I've checked under the car and they have in fact been changed.

I guess it IS possible to do it without taking the wheels off then - I couldn't see how you would get a socket on the lower nut and be able to apply enough force with the wheel in the way. Perhaps you can get an air ratchet on it.

Does the car feel any better?

Simon.

The car just feels the same however it felt fine before they picked it up on the service.
