If I am in my Crossfire, 10. If I am in my Tundra truck, well I would rather not comment. I have had many girls come up and talk to me when I was in the CF. One time I was at Applebee's in Farmingdale picking up a to go order and this hot girl walked up to the car and said " are you waiting for me, honey?" I muttered something stupid and went back to my hotel with my to go food and thought about all the things I could've said. It was a good night.

Until I saw someone walk into a door staring at my car I didn't realize just how much appeal this car really has!

IMO The XFire is a very sexy looking car and I love that fat a$$ that it has! I love the women looking at me when I drive it too!

hmm, the most sexy car that is "payable". sure, there are other beauties like (some) cars from jaguar, ferrari, porsche etc., but I wouldn't even change my crossfire for a boxter, 911, f-50 or whatever, because it is a car I like from every angel of view. it's design is very outstanding and timeless - a car, that will please in 15-20 years. and, it has that bonus which I would describe as "sympathy-factor". a porsche-owner is often regarded as a "snob" or simply as a rich as...e, this will not happen to a crossfire-driver, I think. I hope you understand what I try to say.

OVER HERE MY EXPERIENCE IS THAT PEOPLE ASK ME IF THE xf STARTS AT 50-60 THOUSAND US $!!! THEY ARE DECEIVED BY THE UNIQUE AND EXOTIC LOOK.

Its definitely not a snobby car just a solid car for the price its a good deal. I've had people stop their car in the middle of parking lots to stare. Its great. but the best was when i was at work and looked outside to see a guy standing in the rain looking the car over...LOL

 

This is true, lots of my friends like cars but know little about them.
They all thought I hit the lottery to buy a 60K car.
When I told them I paid 23K new they looked shocked and said, "I paid more than that for my toyota".
I just laugh and say, I told you to ask me before you buy stuff...

My girlfriend says it's a hot car however all of her friends think it looks like a giant steel pen*s. I'm not going to argue with them, but if it does actually look like a giant pen*s. I'd like it to have a little more horsepower, you know, for realism.

well, a real "snobby" person here would not buy an american car ever - although it's half "german", but only few people know that - because only a car like mercedes benz or porsche (or BMW, maybe audi) would come in their mind. us-car drivers here are regarded as little "freaks" who like to show that they a bit different. only about 2% of all cars running on our streets are detroit iron, because they always had and still have a bad reputation, which - in many cases - is not fair, I think. there are and were also many european car - makers that produced crap right in the factory-plants. a 10-15 year old fiat, seat, skoda or citroen is absolute rubbish compared to any us car of that time. if you like to make other people jealous because of you car, buy an expensive german one. if you own the biggest mercedes, you will be a right snob and your neighbors will hate you. but that`s the boring way to do for me. the crossfire is not a good seller over here, although it offers a lot for the price (new ones are sold for 23-27,000 Euros), not to mention the extraordinary design! but the benz SLK, bmw Z4, nissan 350Z, mazda mx-5 and porsche boxter are highly regarded competitors that sell much better. the crossie is the less "snobbish"-one of all these, because only few think that us cars are often the better ones. they simply do not have a good "image". think of the corvette Z-06. it`s data can be compared to even the super-sports cars (like some ferrari or porsche), but this hot chevy would never been regarded as "snobby" here, because of the reasons mentioned. sure, the price has to do with it, too.

yeah jens, i was one of those Americans not trying to be different... but was different... being american these days in europe is not a good thing i and we stand out i guess.

the wife and i lived in suisse for a few years back and traveled thru out europe... a very aged place... compared to the US... you guys have castles close to 2000 years old... here 300 years old is the oldest you will find. and sexy? europeans are a very sexually oriented culture... where here, you won't find naked people on billboards!!! hehehehe
