Chicagoland GTG OCTOBER 5th
Just wanted to see if there was any thought as to when the next GTG is gonna happen? I'm in Denmark until the 21st for work, but I'd love to get together set up for the end of the month...
Anyone? Any ideas?

im pretty much free either weekend... let me know. i'm still in Denmark and won't be back until the 21st. After that I'll be back on much more, but as for now I'm entirely too busy with work to check this more than once a week, if i'm lucky. I'll chat with everyone about this when i get back.

OK Lets make this GTG October 5th.
Open to suggestions as to where to meet and where to cruise.
Remember the less congested the areas are the better the opportunity for driving as a group.

OK I have been doing some thinking and wondered if you guys are willing to drive out to Mount Morris ,Ill to White Pines State Park ??

They have a restaurant there and we could grab a bite from the buffet
and check out the State Park and take some pics.
I spoke with the restaurant and they said it would be best to make a reservation a few days prior to our visit.
A meeting point for the cruise could be at a new Super Walmart in Aurora right near I-88.
I am open to other meet points as well but this route would allow us open road to play on a bit on the way there.
Our route would be I-88 west to I-39/51 north to Rte 64 west. click here
Please give me some feedback with my idea here.
If you would rather just meet locally and not drive anywhere that is fine to.
We can just do lunch somewhere and take it from there.
A few of us just want to get together one more time this year so please consider any options to make it happen.

what kind of mileage are we looking at for this trip?
p.s. did you change the title of the thread? cause i was so confused when it said OCT 5th in the title, cause I didnt think i put that there... haha no worries.

The route I suggested is 73 miles one way.(Cruise only)
I suspect it may be to far for some
but I do want to meet up with as many as possible as this will probably be the last Crossfire GTG for the year.
FP also suggested another "Cars & Coffee" GTG which is fine with me.
Just a hook up in the suburbs somewhere without a long cruise.
Let just get as many together as we can.
