Chicagoland GTG OCTOBER 5th

Chicagoland GTG OCTOBER 5th
The meeting point for this GTG will be at a new Super Walmart in Aurora north of I-88 at Kirk and Butterfield rd at 10:30am
The plan is to drive 73 miles out to Mount Morris ,Ill to White Pines State Park

They have a restaurant there and we can grab a bite from the buffet and check out the State Park and take some pics.
I spoke with the restaurant and they said it would be best to make a reservation a few days prior to our visit.
I will do this on Thursday this week based on the number of folks committed.
Our route will be I-88 west to I-39/51 north to Rte 64 west. click here
This route will allow us open road to play on a bit on the way there.
Now I know gas isn't cheap and time for some may be a concern but this is the last meet for the year for us and we should make the most of it.
I presume several here may be storing away their Crossfires for the winter pretty soon so lets make it a good road trip to end the year together.
Hope you all will attend and we are still looking for more members to join us
