Time and Route:
This year the Chicago 40th Annual Pride Parade is scheduled for Sunday, June 28 at noon .
The parade route: Step off from the Halsted & Belmont corner, proceeding north on Halsted (to Broadway); then south on Broadway (to Diversey); then east on Diversey to Cannon Drive, in Lincoln Park.

Hey FP maybe we should show off our Crossfires in a "parade"....lol j/k

Why would crossfires have to avoid the plague... They are inanimate objects.

I'm so sorry I missed today's cruise. I was so much looking forward to it. I'm just now recovering from that massive headache that started on my way home from the BBQ yesterday.

I hope you post some pics. A special thanks to all those who traveled from outside Illinois. I hope our Arkansans members joined you as well.

Thanks to everyone for an enjoyable sunday.

Great people, great food, and most of all... great cars.

 

First a big thanks to all of you who came out for our GTG !!
A great day for all of us meeting first in Bolingbrook and then heading downtown to the Museum of Science and Industry for a photo shoot and a pit stop.
Then back onto Lake Shore Drive with a trip north along the beautiful Chicago lakefront up to Irving Park rd. where we turned around and headed back to
Maxwell St for an afternoon lunch at Lalo's Mexican restaurant

Then after lunch a few more pics taken on the top of the parking garage with the Sears Tower in the background.
Thanks to Steve (theoneandonly) who did a great job as our group leader through the city streets and to Matt (Zahanma) for following up in the back and shooting some video.

Keep watching for another thread in July after Carlisle has passed as me and FP will be planning another meet for another GTG.
Tentative date Sunday July 26th.

I had a great time, I just got safely home a moment ago (9 hour drive). Thanx to everyone for makeing my weekend so enjoyable.

 

Thanks to Gary, FP and any others that helped put yesterday together. I was a beautiful day spent with great people in a pretty city.

I haven't been to a GTG since I don't know when, I'm sorry now that I
missed them.

I'm not to sure about the midnight gathering, if that
comes together. Those late nights take a toll on me
these days.

I have yet to upload my video of the whole cruise down Lake Shore Drive.

YouTube says it will take an hour and a half to upload..and I haven't found that kind of time yet.

Video is 22min long and YouTube says the max is 10...again haven't found the time to deal with that either.

 

I would like to have a copy of the file burned on a CD or transfered to a DVD if at all possible.

 

Well if you get a copy of it, Bring the copy to Carlisle so I can save it on my laptop

 

She said that we only had 15 min. to exit after paying.
I told her we were taking pictures & there were 3 more that
would not work also.

 

I'll try to figure out how to get it to you... It won't fit on a CD and I don't have a DVDburner in my laptop...I'm old school, well my laptop is at least...2 1/2 years and still runs like a champ... +1 for Dell XPS.

The easiest way I think it will be to do it is to buy a cheap 2gb flash drive and transfer it to there. Probably cost around $10.
