To all attending.

I am working on a local dealer to "sponsor" some of the events but at a minimum, they are interested in setting up a mobile oil changing station for those that need one once they get to St. Louis next year. I don't know his cost, but I'm sure it will be reasonable (in store it is normally $89.99 for Mobil 1) and could help some in waiting till they get here. I have to go back to him around Jan/Feb 2010 to begin planning as this is just too far out for him.


For all volunteers (identified below) and only volunteers for now, please send me an email to erzer@charter.net with a subject of Crossfires Across America (if you don't have it this way, it may go to the junk folder). What I plan to do is put all of our addresses in one email for the volunteers group to have. This will help us begin planning activities and organizing efforts. I can't do a lot until the end of Aug, but I will help play as much of a role in this event as I can. I will be out on vacation next week...I don't take email with me...but please do so as soon as you can.

Second, my kid named me "PizzaDad" because I made home made pizza every sunday night for YEARS... If we have access to a kitchen, maybe I CAN remember my receipe.

 

Got ya added to the map! Everyone is added so far, except for a few people that I PM'ed yesterday. So do you deliver pizzas in a Crossfire?

 

I see 85 of us, 74 of us who are "in" and 11 who are "in" and volunterring.

Is that right?

 

I hardly DRIVE my Crossfire! But I have heard of a guy in Florida who makes $40,000 a year delivering pizzas part time... maybe I SHOULD and then buy another one!

 

Lol! That's an amazing salary for pizza deliveries! And no, the people that are volunteers are also part of the main list. So the '72' people going so far is the actual amount.

 

The Good Lord willing and Ole Miss don't rise I'll be there with the Texas Guys (and Gals).

Borhmian - Google Maps

 

I have an idea: Can we have our "ballon"on the map be the color of our car?

 

Lol.. It's possible, but I'd have to edit the balloons in Paint, upload them to a place online, and then load them into Google Maps. Once I get the basic colors done, it'll be quite easy to continue. I'm up for doing it if there are a handful of people out there that would like to see that.

 

Oh geez... looking at it in this perspective, that sure is a long and lonely drive for me...

 

Why not hook up with some from other points between.

 

Will try, for sure. Might mean another day on each end...

 

Just as a heads up for anyone, I can always save routes to the map as well. So whenever we get some of that hammered out, I can update the maps with the routes, and people can look to see where to meet up with other people along the way.
