Look into taking the Safe Driving Course to reduce the fine and wipe out the points. When John and I got stung TN accepted the state approved course from SC. So that may work for Tom and Jason. Nick the TN course is only 4 hrs. The SC course was 8 hrs. Good luck.
Of course, the show ain't over until the fat lady sings, but I don't think I have to do anything but send in some money. $50, if I'm reading it correctly. Whatever. PA doesn't accept points from other states. So no worries about licenses, driving courses, or insurance premiums.
The worst part is that I know _EXACTLY_ where that was. My GPS warns me about red light cameras and fixed speed cameras. That one is BOTH. I thought it was just a red light camera - it never crossed my mind that they'd have a speed camera there too. Oh well. That's a $50 lesson for me.
Sorry, that it will be more than that for you, Nick. That sucks.

It may be time to invest in some license plate blurring devices:

Sorry it happened to you guys up there on Devil's Triangle. Compared to BoilerUpXFire's horrific incident last year at ToD, you guys were fortunate.

That's being practical but then we are not always a practical bunch now are we.

There have been times when I forgot that I was driving a public roadway which could have "watching eyes", especially the electronic ones. (Note: This will probably spark some responses!!)

It's easy to be a Monday morning quarterback on things like tickets but I don't want to be standing next to the person who says that given a wide open stretch of 4 lane mountain blacktop they wouldn't open up the XF a little bit. Lightning strikes jump. I might not speed in my Honda, but in my XF?!? Who wouldn't do 50mph?!? I feel bad that you guys got tickets & donated to the "Keep TN Beautiful" fund. I'm sure Jim is glad now that he got stuck behind the world's slowest bikers on the Skyway!!!
Now we will know where all the speed traps are for next year!!! Good job guys.

LMAO!
No worries, 180. I am quite practiced at exercising poor judgement.
In fact, I do it every day. If all it costs me is $50, I count myself lucky.
For those that have driven with me, most know I have the need for speed. Believe it or not, I used to be much worse in my younger days. Maybe by the time I reach 180's age, I'll be going the speed limit...
Or not.

Oh, and just in case any of yinz guys (that means "y'all" to you southerners) find yourselves driving in Pennsylvania (the land of orange barrels and speeding tickets), just remember that plate covers are illegal in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
Just throwin that out there for all you road warriors out there.
