Molly and I will not be back to Woodward if the impala club is at our hotel again - and will be writing a letter to the hotel.

Between getting threatened with an *** kicking Friday and having Molly harrassed Saturday, enough is enough.
Ditto on all point. Sorry to hear about the damage to your car Doc.

Thanks to all.

Wow.... it sucks that things had to happen that way for everyone. This has always been a good event, and I think everyone always had a good time. I'm sorry to see so many people had problems.

Doc, If there's anything I can do to help from up here please let me know. I was already wondering if there's any camera's in the lot, but I figured you'd already be on top of that.

Very nice pictures Gary. Awesome job Jim and the rest of the crew that championed the events. Great display of teamwork and forethought Ann. My first Woodward Dream Cruise was a great adventure (excluding the incidents with the SS gang). It was a pleasure to meet/great the members in person that I care so dearly about. In addition, EVERYONE did a fantastic job encouraging non-members to join the club. I gave out all ten of my CICCI cards. Each non-member was very receptive. A special THANK YOU to large contingent of Canadian owners that attended.

Scott Wilkins and all associated with the PP presentation)---THANK YOU. Rob and NEEDSWINGS---THANK YOU.

Doc, I have emailed representatives (the ones I remember seeing) of the SS club regarding your issue. Unfortunately, there were over ten different "clubs" that stayed at the hotel. We'll see if any respond.

Nice pic's Gary! You even managed to get one of my car since I was a late arrival

I will be in for another woodward no matter where the hotel is or who is staying there the same time we(crossfires) are.
I had fun, enjoyed the guest presentation, thanks to everyone who had a hand in the planning, FP for showing up in the crossfire not the bug and using an updated Avatar on the forum. Hope the few people who wanted the stripes are happy with them. I still have a few sets of each up for grabs

When you guys say "Impala Club" are you talking about the old ones? Like, the ones that are dubbed out with gaudy metal-flake paintjobs driven by chronic welfare recipients? Seldom do you see a classy one.

Regarding the current year model Impalas, all I ever see driving them are the Ned Flanders type. IF the driver is a "sports car" enthusiast, it normally means you'll find Jimmy Johnson stickers on the window, peppered with erratic road rage.

I'm trying to wrap my head around the reason an Impala owner would feel "elite", in either body design... Or why they would choose to instigate anything with our gang. Two totally different classes.

Doesn't add up. Did one of you guys p!ss on their pool table?

Really sorry for your lost Doc.....not a great way to end an almost perfect weekend.....Hopefully insurance will cover it. LMAO at your sense of humor, thank you very much for coming out, and as a result, I won a beer from FP and Chrysler gave our cars some attention....

it would be THESE IMPALAS!

only the caprices were taxi's and some in our group have retired taxi's with 500,000 miles on them.
a lot of our modded cars have over 200,000 miles ( no joke)

I was one of the hecklers in the parking lot. But ill be honest...Beeners car is bad a$$.
a couple of the younger guys i met over there were pretty cool. we just like to razz and usually we get no friction and a friendly rivalry ensues. (honestly we heckle each other worse than we were heckling you guys.) a good example of this was the trash talking between the impala guys and the cobalt people that took place in carlisle pa. we were trying to get you guys to engage...it didnt happen i guess, that said though, When it comes down to it we are all car guys. and i can honestly speak for every guy there when i say no one would touch your car other than to help you fix it. i personally will look carefully through my pix to see if i can catch the LP on the mustang trailer.

Some people on this forum get prickly after a little razzing?
Never.

First, I want to "Thank" Jim and his wife for all of their work in putting this event together. As the "Most Enthusiastic Newbies", my husband and I had a FABULOUS time and we will be back next year. We had no idea what to really expect (though I did see pictures beforehand) there's nothing like experiencing it firsthand. We've never seen so many awesome cars in our life!

Second, I want to "Thank" Gary, Tammy, Andres (spelling?), FP (oops, sorry for the typo), Howard, Rick & Clyde for letting us join your caravan down there and back! We really enjoyed the company and tagging along.

It was great meeting so many others (James & Tammy, Chaz, Scott Weber, Judie & Grandson, Lisa, John & Judy, Dan, John, etc...) Everyone made us feel so welcome!

Lastly, I'm sorry about your car Doc. Though we just met Sunday morning, I really felt bad for you. I also found after I returned home that it looked like someone put a backpack or something on top of my car and scratched the hood. Fortunately for me, it can be rubbed out.

BTW... Great pictures Gary!!! I'll post a link to my pictures tomorrow.

Thank you Jim, and all the other locals for putting on such a great event! Scott's presentation was a real treat, Lynda and I realy enjoyed it!

It was great to meet some for the first time, and some from last years Dragon.

Doc it was great to meet you for the first time and I am trully sorry for what had happened to your door, I also had a few erasable scuffs on my hood, which I didn't think much about until now (luckily no scratches)

I hope we see everyone at the Dragon in September, thank you to all of the Crossfire members for making such an outstanding club, that we are proud to be a part of

Thank you Gary for the great photo's

Angelo

Doc very sorry to hear and now see what happened to your car. I was not overly comfortable with how full the lot was because the whole atmosphere of it was so different this year, revving cars, faster driving in the lots than seemed needed, lots of smoking tires, just not the same. If that were all, then OK not my thing, but oh well. Except that's not all it was and I am sorry your car was damaged. I hope the person who did it will come to see that they need to pay you for the damage they caused and apologize for handling it so badly. BTW- bigoldwagon your a stand up gal/guy
