I'll be cruising up I-77 all the way to the far north. Planning on making it to Charleston WV Thursday evening and driving the rest of the way in on Friday morn. I think I'll be too far east but thanks for the invite.

James
PS, Dan if you take 64 out of Charleston to the west, then go north on 75 at Lexington, we can meet up in northern Cincinnati for breakfast if you like. LMK

James, I'm not familiar with either highway. All the mapping software shows 77 as the more direct/faster route. For you folks that know Ohio....which is the better road to take? I'm not dedicated to any particular route and meeting up along the way just increases the fun. I'm open to suggestions....

I would prefer to leave earlier, as I work half days on Friday since none of my clients are ever in the office, but Molly has a little more demanding work schedule....
As of now 13 of our 20 rooms have been reserved.
7 rooms still available
Please be sure that your reservations are made prior to July 29, 2011, the cut-off date, when any unreserved rooms will be released.

Gary, my company is sending me to southern Illinois on the 18th, 19th of August. If I get home on the 19th, I will drive up later in the day on the 20th, if not, I won't be makin' the trip...sorry...I was looking forward to this trip, but I can't tell them no at this point. If something changes, I will let you know.......the Dragon is set in stone, so it isn't a problem....

OK XFire Dream Cruisers - It's 7 weeks out, but here's what I've put together for us so far:
THURSDAY: Dinner for locals and early arrivers - TBD
FRIDAY:
3-5 p.m. The prototype car is supposed to be at the Chrysler Museum (we'll make sure ahead of time this year) so we could tour the museum and view the orig XFire again as a group. This time slot is a placeholder for now.
6:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Dinner at the Fox Grill on Woodward and Long Lake (approx 3.5 miles from hotel) TheFoxGrill Yes, we'll be right on Woodward with a separate dining room reserved and group parking adjacent to the restaurant. Cruise Woodward and hotel parking lot tailgating after dinner.
SATURDAY:
8:30 A.M. Depart for display area, which is the same location as last year (13 Mile west of Woodward) and will again be shared with the Prowler group. Note: Maps with all dining, display, lodging etc... locations will be provided this year. No one will get lost!
9:00 a.m - 6:00 p.m. Enjoy the Cruise, lunch on your own.
6:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Dinner at Brady's Tavern 13 Mile & Southfield (approx 1.5 miles from display area) Welcome to Brady's This place is my sister's 2nd home so she may join us with her Boxster. We have the entire back room and group parking in a lot next to the tavern. After dinner, cruise Woodward one last time (it closes at 9) and back to the hotel parking lot.
SUNDAY
Breakfast and departure for some. Others will provide a XFire escort for Valky as far as Lake Michigan and then tour the western side of the state for a few days. MsGump and Wolverine are setting up the itinerary.
Misc Issues
Go-Carting - If anyone is interested in carting over the Cruise weekend, Rob has a couple of locations lined up, so let us know if you are interested. With drive times, it'll be about a 4 hour time slot.
Dinners - PM me if you are definitely , 100% planning on attending the dinners so I can get and accurate headcount. Feel free to do your own thing if you so choose, I just need to know for the reservations.
Newbies - This GTG is dedicated to forum newbies, so new owners: try to make it if at all possible. If you don't have a Xfire yet, you have 7 weeks to get one and attend this event. You will have a blast, and can have your picture taken with Valky or meet Rob at NeedWings. Heck, we even let former owners attend with their Challengers (Scott Weber & Apkano).
Other - There may be some surprise attendees and a guest speaker or two, so stay tuned.......................My driveway carwash is also open all weekend (approx 4 miles from hotel)

Doc - Your presence at the Cruise is mandatory. Who else will be lighting up their tires in the hotel parking lot if you're not there? Try to make it if at all possible.
Mouse - Sounds like you've been working too hard and need a break. Maybe you could convoy in with some of the attendees fron the NE states (NY,RI,MD). Plus, I need to again hear your classic story from a couple Dragons ago about the Dodge Ram with the ski mask-wearing driver in the middle of the night. Bring your jumper cables!
v2 - Gotcha on the list. Thanks for the prompt response. Look forward to seeing you on the 19th.
All - I wonder if this male pole dancer will be in the hotel parking lot again this year:
