Kim tell Chuk that all Crossfires were made especially for the Dragon. He needs to get up here and run with Nick's "ARG" group. He won't stop smiling for months.

According to the "Urban Dictionary" :
a ghost walk is where you leave a party/night out without saying bye to your friends.

A ghost walk is primarily used when you know your night has finished and you don't want the hassle of your mates trying to keep you out later than you have to when all you want is a sofa and a joint..

Is this what you had in mind, Kim ?

( If so, better hide that weed real good while crossing Georgia, SC, and Tennessee - I'm guessing Florida don't care ..... )

I think she means walking around, looking for ghosts.

Which, also might require copious amounds of weed.

I'll be flying out this time. Driving through OK on the way to the Dragon would add an extra 200 miles or so. However, I will have the opportunity to drive through OK on the way down to TMS on May. Just three more months of that blank spot for ya.

I'm up for a walk, but would have to skip the smores. Drink is transportable.

Seems like I'm late to the party as usual... but Gary you're welcome to ride with me as well.

Do you need a pick-up from the airport?

As for drifting, Nick, I don't think they call it drifting when all four wheels are sliding.

Oh My! I've thought that was drifting for years. Unless you are going forward only. Sowhat is that we are doing when all four wheels are"drifting sideways as we steer thrrrruuuuuu a turn with only throttle control?

Well ....I think the lodge of Deals Gap are the only places nearby for breakfast unless we head to Robbinsville first on the Friday run.
I'm up for this if we decide to as a group

Tom,
Thanks for the offer but it's a 75 minute drive each way and I have a 7:20pm flight out on Sunday so I'll just rent a car for this time.

There's an airport in Knoxville you can fly into. I would be happy to pick you up.

Thanks but I cant this go around, maybe in the fall (big maybe). But I was talking to my fiance and someday were going to set aside money and were going to take like a week off to visit family spread out in the states around NC. I have been watching videos of the Tail of the Dragon and the road looks awesome! Have any of you gotten tickets? This guy saw 7 cops ... the video is the 11 miles fast forwarded...

I got a ticket in the area back in '09. First ticket I have had in almost 20 years. You just have to play it cool and know the spots where they hide.

I think it's time to bring this video back

A few notes,
I've never noticed how beautiful it is on that road. Everything just goes by so damn fast.
Jason gets out of shape at 7:25
The "Dip" is at 11:45
and the long 100mph + straight (if you dare) is at 15:13 to 15:36
