I am having a detailing and packing session this evening, then getting up around 5 to meet the crew in Florence, and then head to the lodge.

Everyone be safe out there, and watch out for cops as well, there will be plenty of opportunities to get tickets around the dragon, no need to bring one with you

 

That thought occurred to me about an hour ago...

 

Car is detailed (thanks Chuk), laundry done, snacks packed, books on CD loaded, new tires on, new brakes on (thanks Chuk), gased up.

I am ready to roll & see you guys. I am sick as a dog right now but I am powering down the meds & I WILL be there!!! Maybe a short power nap before I head out......

Gonna try to not come to work tomorrow and leave about 8am - puts me up there about 10:30 am.

 

Pizzaguy, I would get here earlier than that, or not bother until after work. We usually hit the road by 930 or so. You'd get here and be on your own for the day.

Then about a 1 hour ride to the lodge via a night time run through the Dragon

I made the mistake of not getting it all approved thru channels like I am supposed to. I didn't carry the ball far enough, I guess.

Still learning the politics - employee handbook says I"m good, but *someone* doesn't appear to follow the handbook.

 

We decided to Sarandon then start drinking. Life is good right now as I'm on large blue Valium in for the night. Franc is rambling on about something and Tom is pretending to listen. Susan and Ray just arrived and are drinking as well.

 

Installed mass air flow sensor car is running good. Ben and I made a run between showers. Hope they end tonight. Will be in Fontana in the morning

 

Damn I missed no pants day !!! What about clothing optional Monday lol

PERFECT weather here! It made it to the low 70's but was a bit nippy by the time we met for dinner at 7 pm. 100% sunshine all day!

Oh, it's been too long since I've been here... It' a small group compared to the fall ... but a great time.

 

As usual another great weekend here so far.
The weather is absolutely perfect !!!!
Everyone is having a blast and the twisty mountain runs and dining have been great.
Back in the lodge right now after a group dinner out on the deck of the Wildwood grill.
The bottles are coming out and the drinks are being poured.
Now the party starts to end the day.

Pacemaker (Johnathon) will be having a Easter Sunday church service tomorrow morning at the Fontana Church prior to beginning another day of driving in the mountains.

Some new folks and even some non members have discovered our group this weekend and are impressed with this whole GTG.
