Valk - Not worried about the temps, but what do the local forecasts show for rain? Weather Channel predicts 40-50% chance of rain both Fri & Sat.

 

Darn just noticed this, I would have loved to join the cruise but I work until 3:30 on Saturday.

Forecast for Saturday currently is light showers early morning (20% chance) and then clearing with dry weather and 60 degrees in the afternoon going down to a night time low of 45 degrees but no further rain forecasted for the remainder of the weekend.

Doesn't sound too promising for my install...unless you have a big garage Gary. Sounds like a cold install as well.... Ole' Rudy may want to re-think this one. We shall see. I will call Rudy when I get home...to see what is up....later....

Possible 23, if weather is good, another new guy from Portage, Ind area. I drove ours on a job, and it was funny, we were working right next to each other for about a week and didnt know. He's been to Bolingbrook before, but said doubtful, if weather is bad. Lucus (& wife) def. wants me to let him know about next GTG. I did steer him to the forum, even showed it to him. So we'll see. Maybe another new member soon.

 

I'll be seeing you guys out at the meeting point in bolinbrook saturday if the weather holds up and isnt crappy.

Just want to thank those who came by my house tonight for pizza and beer etc.
Rudy did the paddle shift kit install on Oledoc2u SRT6 Roadster as well.
Looking forward to seeing all of you again tomorrow for our Lakefront Cruise.
For everyone who posted that they will be coming I still hope to see all of you regardless of the weather.
The cruise will still leave from Cheddar's around 12:15 and proceed downtown for the Lake Shore Drive Cruise and lunch at Manny's Deli.

As for the Demolition night we will discuss that over lunch in the afternoon and determine the weather and then decide
An alternative plan may be going to a sports bar in Bolingbrook not to far from our starting point if the weather is not cooperating.
So come on out and join us anyway.
We will make the day fun regardless of the weather.

Paddle shifters....thought I was going to need a paddle boat...and the traffic jam....oh man, the traffic jam...it took longer to get from the hotel to valks than it did from home to Chicago....lol.... Just got in at 2 am ET...been going for 22 hrs ...and still wide awake...
