I played phone tag with the M6 manager today. But she got my message and they know were coming.

Dave, the hotel is Motel 6. I'm waiting for them to give us a discount code. For some reason they now have to go through corporate for approval. Last years rate was $39.99/night.

Went ahead and booked Motel 6.. if a discount rate will be available, they said they would apply it at check in. Made one for Saturday before too for the trip down. And was so much in the mood went ahead and booked Denton Motel 6 for Nov. 2 and 3..

They have stock options?

Definitely looking forward to fall this year with CAA#4 and then back for the race! Took wife to her first one last April and she was ready to order tickets for Nov. when we got home.

Row 2 100 yrds from start-finish line.. still had rubber chunks in our hair that evening.. LOL. Row 9 this time right off pit row exit.

I FINALLY got the discount code for Motel 6. Here's what she sent:

"Sorry this has taken so long. New rate protocols set up through corporate office take a little longer to get rates set up in the System. The lowest rate I could get was 15% off which comes out to $41 for single, plus $5 more for double occupancy. In order to receive the 15% discount your members must use CP570545
Rooms can be booked at www.motel6.com or directly with the hotel. Just make sure they use the discount number."

So the rate went up a few bucks from years past but it's still a great deal. I have updated the first thread with the info. Go git r done!
