140.41 138.35, 138.42, & 139.19 The 141.41 was the only standing start run I had. The people I raced with wanted to go on the roll....Car was solid all day. I drove 3 hrs to get there, no cooling, ran the 1st run an hour later. and 3 more runs within the next 3 hrs... I happy, now to tweek the tune.

Great times Doc! (My best is 140.62 BTW) So tell me, did you have fun? Was it worth the drive? Were you spraying water/meth? How much? Are you running tomorrow?

I dont have my slips in front of me for exact mph but in order my runs were: 148, 154, 151, 152, 156. In between runs 1,2 & 4 I made changes to my tune to try and help spool. Runs 1,2,3 were from a roll and 4,5 we from a dig. My spool problem is basically gone but my rear brakes will not hold when staging. Need bigger rear brakes or a higher stall T/C. All in all a very good day and I am happy with my times. Oh and note to self, 2-3 shift on Hoosier DR's at 18psi still spins at 29psi.

That 156 had to have shaken up a lot of competitors. That is flying. It takes a Mustang around 550 hp to the wheels to see over 150. I know one with 550 hp and he had to tape up the grill, remove mirrors etc. to reach 155 mph. I'm impressed.

Well we had a great time at the Chicago 1/2 mile shootout held this weekend in Monee, Illinois.
We had 2 Crossfires racing this weekend driven by Bill Holliday (oledoc2u) and Bryan Tracy (ImportLabSRT)
Also racing was Eurocharged Jake in the white modded Mercedes.

Also several other friends joined me and attended as spectators.
Thanks to all who came out for this event this weekend.
I had a great time and below is a link to the photos I took over this weekend:

The 156 was from a dig and the car took off pretty well.... if I didnt spin the tires on the 1-2 shift (car skipped 2nd and went to 3rd), I think I may have seen another 1-2mph. The tuning I did through out the day helped getting out of the hole. Oh, and no tape, nothing removed and full weight + me (which is heavy).

Thanks for the vid Gary! When I pulled up to get my slip, the owner of the Supra looked back at me and said "Glad that was a 1/2 mile, you had me at the 1/4." LOL

It was a great time, and always great to see some friends.

My favorite was the hearse running 150+MPH, that was insane

I am pretty sure Gary posted a video or two to facebook, it was absolutely crazy. Between the massive turboed hearse and several 200+MPH cars, I realize I need some extra ponies

yep, I think everything I lined up against had 600 hp or better and they still wanted to go from a roll....That won't happen next time....they can just catch me...
