I am in for a woodward cruise too! Same as last year, Saturday afternoon show up at the hotel.

 

Looking forward to it, this time I will bring more bier from the brewery for us to enjoy

 

At least 7 of us.........after that, it gets crowded. I'll be hauling the cornhole boards (bags, for you yanks), and the coolers.....lol.

I'll bring some of the good stuff myself.......loaded up before the "watering down" incident. Sounds like the usual good time will be had by all.

 

They have announced, due to overwhelming response, they are not actually doing the 2.5% watering down, they will keep the 90 proof it has always been, but they had me worried for a minute...

Molly and I are going to private event at the distillery in April, should be fun

For a place to eat I would suggest the Alibi in Rochester, its about 20 minutes from where we park. They have great food and even better pizza!

If you will ...please contact them and see if they can accommodate the whole group (30 to 40 people) on either Friday or Saturday night say around 6 to 7 pm.

 

Just talked to them... They do not do reservations, however, we can book our group as a banquet. The only drawback to the banquet would be the limited menu.

For Friday afternoon/night I thought it might be cool to take a tour of Jefferson in Gross Point. There are some beautiful homes and views of Lake St. Clair as well as one of the Ford Mansions (not sure how late they are open.) If we did that we could eat in St. Clair Shores on the water.

 

In addition to the WDC you may choose to extend your visit and enjoy a few more days after the Dream cruise.
