My my my...... that time of year again. A random thought or two....

~ Grosse Pointe and Grosse Point Shores would be a good place for someone to get in a nice photo or two. Fairly ritzy area.

~ The Alibi has great food, you won't be disappointed.

~ Not sure if anyone knew this, but if you go to Google maps, then go to street view, it was taken the day of the cruise. Maybe you can find yourself!

~ Hopefully I'll be able to get out to the hotel one of those nights and join the party. Did someone say burnout contest?

 

Steve - Fairly certain I heard Valky or Doc throw down the burnout gauntlet last Aug.

Drag your Challenger over and meet with us at the Cruise, for a meal or at the hotel.

My pkg pass & wristbands came today.

Has anyone been in touch with Bob or Sandy to let them know we'd like a reserved Xfire spot like last year? If not, I'm happy to give them a shout to get us a reserved area (with shade).

Three months to go with 25 attendees already.

My passes came today as well.

 

I am their contact person for Woodward and I have let them know about our parking request.
They always keep track of the number of parking passes for clubs and make an attempt to keep them together at the park.
The only thing that cant be guaranteed is the area within the park that we are placed.
The gates open at 7am on Saturday and it is first come first serve and the early birds get the space up closest to Woodward and as it fills up you get further and further back as we did last year rolling in around 9:30
We were probably the last ones to arrive at the park on Saturday

We might need to round everyone up early on Saturday morning to get a spot closer to the front of the park but then we will also be dealing with the heavy volume as we enter the park with all the other show cars.

Right now I'm not sure if we'll be attending Woodward this year. I'm working on a huge project at work which is being implemented 7/26. We are currently scheduled to be on call through 9/15 so at this time I'm not sure whether I'll be able get away. I will let you know as soon as I know for sure... :-(
