I keep telling people that they are kinda flexible on that "last day to book at the discounted rate" thing... "Heads in the beds" is what it's all about.
Of course, don't try to book a room at noon saturday on Z-days weekend. I paid $129 when someone cancelled that day.
So, don't wait TOO LONG.

I'm actually pretty excited about it as well. We have a few new people going and it has some of the best banked switch backs that I've found up there. Of course after we finish it I normally say it may be the last time I take a group over there and it's normally a couple years before I bring the route back out lol.

Hmmmm................ do you have a neon flashing sign on your car that says "pick me" .......bummer we need to get a collection together here on the forum for just this type of situation so we can all pitch in and help the unfortunate members who have such bad luck! If we all gave $3 we could start a fund

No, just violated my own rules:
1) Don't be the fastest guy out there.
2) Don't "Stand Out".
3) Always remember you are never in a hurry.
None of these tickets had anything to do with 'spirited driving', 2 of the 3 were in RENTAL CARS on business trips.

If we get 153 members to pitch in $3 that ticket of yours Pizzaguy would be dealt with .....at least the monetary part of it. You'd still have the points against the lic but at least the financial wouldn't hit you so hard. Any others willing to pitch in to a fund for overzealous driving (or just plain BS cops)? Maybe Valk could setup a paypal fund ID so we could all contribute for this kind of stuff. Where do I send the $3 I'll be the first!

See, that's it. No points on two of the tickets - I guess I should be happy, but it's clear that much of this is about revenue generation.
