Not sure if this is proper protocol but, do you think more people would see it if we posted something in the "All Crossfires" forum?
Anyone know if this is a rain or shine event, I read the whole posted flyer and did not see anything about it, but I have been known to miss things right in front of my face.

I don't know a lot about posting anyway I thought it was in the same place as all the other ones we have gone to before but that goes to show what I know about posting.. Feel free to post one in the other forum maybe that would help.. I will call the track and ask them about the rain, not sure and let ya'll know.

Looks like that may be my last chance to get the cars out for a day. I will check with son #1 and see if he is interested. Can't drive them both. Would be nice to step away for a day.

 

It will be a nice day (I Hope). Kinda short, But if everybody wanted to we could make a run down to Rabbit Hash and meet Lucy Lou, She's running for President ya know !! She's the Mayor of Rabbit Hash. She may make it to even though she's a dog !!

Today I received my schedule for the week/weekend. No way out of this one. I won't be able to make this. Maybe next year.

I contacted the track today and they say there maybe a rain delay , (not sure yet) If there is I will post it here as soon as I find out they are suppose to call me and let me know. Someone asked if its $40.00 per car or per person and it is per car not per person for those who wondered about that. If we are to go on Sat. I think we should all meet at White Castle on Richwood exit at 8:00 am. We have to go on to the track together if we want to run together the track isn't going to make arrangements after you are in there is what I was told , We need to go in together. If you all have any better suggestions , speak up and let everyone know. The track time is only 9am to Noon and its best to get there early.

Most of the weather reports I have seen show Saturday as the only day out of the next ten to have any kind of rain chance (wouldn't you know it). Hopefully they change that by then. I have a wedding to get to by 4 PM so if it's raining in the morning and there is a rain delay I may be out. If the rain holds off till the afternoon I will be at White Castle by 8. Fingers crossed.

 

On an unrelated subject I am planning on making a run to the Milford Kroger Cruise In this Friday. If anyone wants to join me post up here or PM me.

 

Ken, there are two Kroger's in Milford. I believe you are speaking of the Kroger's at the Bypass, East of I-275? Just thought I would mention that if anyone attends.

Good point James, I forgot about the other one. The cruise takes place at the one in Mullberry Square which as James pointed out is east of I-275.

 

Next two weekends are out for me...new hardwood, and installer called to schedule for the 24th thru the 28th. Which means I have to empty the downstairs of all furniture and appliances...getting too old for this stuff... Figured I would be too tired for the dragon as well...so we cancelled out cabin for that weekend as well. So if the weather holds, the wife and I are taking the roadster for a KY/TN run in mid October. No plans just load and go...

 

The weather forecast are are all over the place as to whether the rain arives in the morning or afternoon. I will make the call in the morning depending on if it is raining then and depending on what radar looks like.

 

The Cruise was packed tonight as usual, got there about 6:10 and found a spot right next to a very nice red Prowler with lambo doors. I did get to try out my under seat blue led lights. The first time I got to use them in two years, I did have to walk over to the nearby Kroger to buy some new batteries to replace the corroded ones that were in the lights.

Ooooh...Aaaaah!


John1780 pulled in just as I was packing up to leave. He was sporting his new black F150 which looked really good under the lights.

 

According to my weather app on my phone the rain will get in here around 11. As I said earlier I can't afford a rain delay so I am going to have to back out. I know I am going to regret doing so. Have fun guys.

I just watched channel 9 says just isolated and won't get here till this afternoon. Didn't look like it will till this afternoon on the radar to me so I'm going to try it anyway. Up to you.
