Was hoping to get there this year...wife and i have reservations at the resort in may for our anniversary...always the fall meeting though.

 

Ok, I should be at the Spring Dragon after all. I will book a room Monday when Marie is in her office.
I just hope my flight is not delayed, I land in Atlanta Friday night around 4:30 - so I should get to the lodge around 11pm friday.

I HATE to drive up there in the dark, but it is my only option. If my flight is delayed much - I may end up missing out OR arriving Saturday morning about 8-9 am.

Welcome! If you are not there by 9, you will proably miss us - a group of this size will very likely be outta there by 9 or shortly after.

I always get there on THursday, but this time, work got in the way, I should blow into Fontana between 8-845.

 

I appreciate the heads up. If I leave home at 6 should be there in plenty of time. Will be coming in across the dragon.

I have driven from the Tyson McGee airport to the Fontana lodge in less than 90 minutes so being there by 9:00 should not be a problem at all.
You are gonna have a great time and make many new friends here.
We have another gathering in the Fall each year as well... this year October 6, 7, 8
Same place and more Crossfires come in the Fall.
This has been a annual event twice a year since 2008

Wow, just few more days Until the Dragon , ( did somebody die ? LOL ) you would think there would be more Excitement ! going on in here , come on people this going to be a great weekend of fun , I know this because I'm going on my ninth Spring Dragon , Just a few thing to go over about this weekend bring your two way Radios if you have them they come in handy and it give the better half something to do while your driving , #2 be safe ,always stay on your side of yellow line no cutting off corners , # 3 always drive with in your means , if group gets ahead of you we always stop and wait for you catch up ( good time to get to know each other ) #4 some of us have been doing this for awhile and made life long friends so don't be shy jump in and join the party , no more to be said, WING UP see ya at the Dragon

 

Less than 20 attending so the runs should be very easy to manage.

Yea, CAA8 is costing us Spring Dragon attendees - but that is perfectly understandable.

This will be a smaller, more informal gathering and should be very relaxed and enjoyable. Then Gen Coupes will be there as well, their group is smaller than normal this time as well.

Again, if Delta comes thru for me, I'll pull into the Lodge parking lot not long before 9am Saturday.

ya ! Thinking same thing , but that all I can say about that , But it will still be a great time , we have had small groups in past , give everybody time to get to know each a little better , look forward to meeting new group of people , With the warm weather that came early this year looking forward to seeing all the spring color in The Mtn. Susan and should be in around three Fri. if weather nice we taken back roads 27 all way down to 68 and across the sky way back to Fontana , Look forward to seeing everybody (WING UP )

Roads , for the newbies you have a chance to know what your Crossfire was really made for ,they really love to eat up the Mtn. We are arriving on Thursday. Are there any others smoking in on Thursday. This our first time having just gotten Crossfire last October.

Again, IF Delta does not let me down, I'll be there Saturday about 8:45am. If Delta delays and screws up, then I'll see you in Eurkea Springs and at the Fall Dragon.
