Default Southeast/North Georgia Tech Day - March 4, 2017

Almost forgot!

Our first Tech Day is 3/4/17 in Oakwood, GA on the shore of Lake Lanier near Gainesville. We start around 9 but our host says arrival early is fine.

Message me here or call me at six7ate-8sevenseven-tufornine3 (encrypted to get around the 'bots)

Hosts are Tricia and Darrell

Planned: Changing a few CPSs, resoldering some RCMs, doing my front pads and bleeding my system, some audio system work on at least one car, and I'm sure a lot of other stuff.

FOOD: Contact me or Tricia to see what you can bring - if you don't want to work on your own car, but need help with it, bring food and drink for others!

Well, I've been looking for an excuse to hit the highway, an this is it. Count me in! I'm bringing an electric impact to the party. Makes for easy tire removal. lol. Cars good ,just coming to help an the meet an greet. I have to get permits, because hauling that much" ugly "across state line has to be illegal. I'll text for coordinates. Hoping for good weather.

Please do , I've changed rear rotors an pads. I can do the fronts by myself later,(already have )but changing brake fluid by ones self is a hole nuther ballgame, without your tool. I'll use it if you don't mind. What do you recommend for fluid?

I'd bring it, George.

I also want to change my Diff and Trans oils. Not sure I can get new oil up into the ports without a small pump - can anyone help with that?

I don't know Tricia's addresss, I'm waiting for her to send it to me and I"ll put it up here.
In any event, she is a few miles southwest of Gainesville, GA.

Mark - You'll def need a suction pump to do the trans/diff fluid.
Don't forget to bleed the clutch slave while you're at it.

I did my diff with a turkey basting syringe and some clear tubing.
Took awhile, but got the job done.
Don't know about manual transmissions, but same should apply.

One more thing, I ordered more cards, 500 this time. These work for when you see a Crossfire sitting at Walmart or the Dentist's office - or in the lane next to you at a traffic light. The last 250 went fast, I was going to order 250 more but they offered 500 for just a few dollars more (but dropped the introductory price break from last time) so I thought I'd better buy in bulk. 500 cost me just under $60

Print quality is way better than the photo below - I'll have them with me Saturday:

100 for $10
50 for $6
25 for $4

Sounds like a great GTG. Have a blast and post plenty of pics.
I'm interested in seeing a pic of Wallace Pruitt's new BAS top installed.
