srt + needswing
Re: srt + needswing
I just followed proven recipe for modding these motors by reading up on the subject here on the Forum.
what i have,it is all listed in my sig. works great , Tons of torque everything ,but it is not a radical tune by any means.
There is more power to be had from these motors ,it depends on what you want, ,just a new intake and tune would be great too if you want to keep cost down .

NeedsWings cold air intake (single or double) would be the best noticeable mod start. I've always slipped water resistant covers over my filters for the extra piece or mind. But that's just me! I favor Robs ASP 178MM crank pulley with pulley saver kit over the easy to install troubled smaller supercharger pulley. As tempting as bumping up to a (185MM) crank pulley would seem. It'll only create lots of extra heat that will only pull your timing unless you add lots of cooling upgrades. Our fuel pump and fuel filter are aging out with our cars. Now would be a good time to bump up to a SL55 fuel pump. Definitely would recommend the SL55 fuel pump with a added adjustable pressure regulator if your increasing the supercharger's pressure. Then getting a Eurocharged tune. If your final goal is 400HP to the rear wheels, then sell your engine. Drop in a SL55AMG supercharged engine. Squirrel Crusher
