Hey Jim (Harbor) are we going to go to the Moose Preserve on Thursday evening like we usually do? Mickie can't come along with me this year due to her work schedule.

Yep, it’s a Dream Cruise kick-off tradition, although won’t be the same without Iamfink1. Will have to FaceTime her in.

To any Dream Cruisers in town on Thursday - feel free to join us at the Moose Preserve for dinner around 6ish. PM me if you can make it so that I can get a big enough table.

Gary could you please take Mickie off the Dream Cruise and BBQ list and make it for 1? Due to her work schedule she can't make it this year. That will free up another spot for the BBQ.

Should I relay invitations to the Crossfire program bosses who came to the BBQ last year? Art and Scott? Not sure they will want to submit to another grilling about Crossfire history.... although they might be OK talking about Old Times.

Spent last week out of town. Dream Cruise parking pass and other info arrived in the mail today. Thanks folks.

 

As described in Post #2 there is a $10 cost per person for the Friday night BBQ
Please check Post #3 to see if you are listed as attending the Friday night BBQ

If for any reason your plans have changed I must be notified via PM or post here prior to August 4th
You will then be removed from the BBQ list and not expected to attend the BBQ or pay the $10
On August 4th the final number attending will be tallied for food purchase by our host for this BBQ
Payment will be expected of you at the BBQ
This is a rain or shine event

 

I received this reservation confirmation list from the Auburn Hills Marriott for our room block for the Dream Cruise
Be sure to look at this and be sure you are shown for a room reservation if you have made one and check the dates to be certain they are correct
If there are any errors send me a PM or post in this thread and let me know ASAP

Looks like I won't be making the trip after all :-( Sorry to miss trip to see family and seeing Crossfire family too.

 

 

Garry. Gene and I will be coming in Friday around noon. Wasn't sure if we were going to make it this year (thanks to a medical issue) but I just got off the phone with Gene and it's a go. If it's not too late, we would like to attend the Friday night BBQ. Lookin forward to seeing everybody.

The location is at his home only a couple blocks east of Woodward Ave. just 7 miles north of Memorial Park in Bloomfield Hills and/or only 5 miles from our host hotel.

Time: Come anytime after 4:00pm, we will eat between 5:30 and 6:30.
Food: Brats & Hot Dogs & Hamburgers, Salads, Chips, nuts etc.
Drinks: Water & Pop provided......BYO beer, wine, whatever.
