CAA #10 (Crossfires Across America #10) Northern California - July 7 - 12, 2019
HAve any of you visited Samoa Dragstrip...really ON the coast in Samoa, CA...short ride west of Eureka... www.somoadragstrip.com NHRA sanctioned track...just a thought
I am looking at their website right now...I am imagining some of the SRT-6s racing down the strip. We will have to see if there is a way to rent the facility for a day and how much it would be. Thanks for the heads up.

I know that they will, but have no idea of the cost. I am a former NHRA Safety Safari member and asst track manager...but do not have any local contacts at Samoa to help out...
Usually I have maintained this list is post #2 of the event thread
Jeff (SECHS in forum) and I are discussing our logistics of this event. It’s a 34 hour drive from our place to Blue Lake.
Ok, my wife was born and raised in Mckinleyville ,ca Its just a few miles from blue lake, and also a few miles from Eureka city. there are lots of places that you can stay at cheaper and then drive 10 min, to blue lake. there is so many things to do while you are there. fishing on ocean ,golf Zoo, beer bars, But if you can you must go to Klamath falls,1 Hour north, at Bobs steel head lodge for the best full or 1/2 rack of ribs, This the must place to eat dinner , But I will tell you you will not finish your dinner , trust me Its that big. Now Going to Sonoma ,ca from blue lake is a five hour drive down 101 and a extra hour to San Francisco, We are coming from Salem Oregon and its a 6 hour drive for us , but we stay at my farther in laws home in MCkinleyville. Hope to see everyone there on the 7TH. GORDY.

Yes, we were thinking the same thing. We are very much looking forward to attending this event. We're just a few hours from the proposed location, and know it's a long way for many of y'all, but it would be just fantastic to meet up with everyone. Northern PCH is magical for sure! Count us in.
Hello I am not sure if anyone has made a list of people as of yet. Please let me know when this happens. Thanks

Those that may be interested could arrive a day early (July 6th); This is one of the days in the "Street Legal" drag series sponsored by O'Reilly's. FREE to race!, FREE to watch.
I have my room booked. I'm hoping my daughter will be able to attend also.
